This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit securenext.com (the "Site"), submit our contact forms, or engage with us as a client or prospective client.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs — IP address, browser user agent, referring page and timestamps. Used to detect abuse and improve performance.
• Anti-abuse tokens — Cloudflare Turnstile assigns a short-lived, opaque token to your browser when you submit a form, to confirm you are not a bot. The token does not personally identify you.

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not use third-party advertising trackers, pixel tags or behavioural-advertising cookies.
• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

• To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact forms.
• To deliver software development, consulting and support services for which you have engaged us.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., proposals, invoices, status updates) related to ongoing engagements.
• To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, spam and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law and other applicable jurisdictions.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU / UK visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following lawful bases:

• Performance of a contract — when you have engaged SecureNext for services.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry, operate the Site and protect against abuse.
• Legal obligation — when we are required to retain records for tax, accounting or compliance purposes.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with the limited categories of recipients listed below, and only to the extent necessary:

• Service providers (data processors) — Cloudflare (anti-bot challenges and CDN), Amazon Web Services (Lambda function and API Gateway that handle contact form submissions) and Google (Gmail SMTP that delivers contact-form emails to our team).
• Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers, auditors and bankers, only when engaged under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities — when disclosure is required by law, court order or to enforce our legal rights.

All processors operate under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy and applicable data-protection laws. We do not transfer personal data outside India for commercial reasons; where transfers occur (e.g., to AWS, Google or Cloudflare data centres), they are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses a minimal set of first-party cookies needed for functionality and security. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies.

Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived cookies on form pages to confirm that submissions come from a human. These cookies are used solely for abuse prevention.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The Site will continue to function, but contact forms may stop working if cookies are blocked.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and any legal retention obligations:

• Contact-form submissions — kept in our email inbox for up to 24 months, then archived or deleted unless an active engagement requires continued reference.
• Server logs — retained for up to 90 days, then automatically purged.
• Client engagement records — retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years to satisfy Indian tax and accounting requirements.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Object or restrict — object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.

• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted backups, role-based access controls, audit logging on our cloud infrastructure (AWS), and signed Non-Disclosure / Master Service Agreements with our team members and processors.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or other factors. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for at least 30 days before they take effect.
