A full UI/UX design engagement at SecureNext covers six stages: (1) discovery and stakeholder workshops, (2) UX research — interviews, personas, journey maps, competitive teardowns, (3) information architecture and wireframing, (4) high-fidelity UI design in Figma with components, variants and auto-layout, (5) interactive prototyping and usability testing with real users, and (6) developer-ready handover with design tokens, Storybook documentation and dev-mode annotations. Optional engineering implementation can be picked up by the same SecureNext team.

UI/UX design pricing depends on scope. A focused UX audit typically runs 2–6 weeks at a fixed price. A new product UI/UX design engagement (5–25 screens) usually takes 6–12 weeks. A dedicated UI/UX designer on a rolling monthly contract is the most cost-efficient model for ongoing product work, at roughly one-third the equivalent US or UK rate. Figma is our primary platform — chosen for its collaboration, component variants, auto-layout, design tokens and Dev Mode handover. We also work in Adobe XD and Sketch when client teams are already standardized on those. For research and validation we use Maze, UserTesting and Hotjar. For visual assets we use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Everything ships in formats your engineering team can directly consume.

Remote-first research is now standard practice. We run moderated and unmoderated remote user interviews over Zoom, Google Meet or Teams; recruit testers via UserTesting, Maze and lookback panels; run unmoderated prototype tests with click-tracking and screen recordings; deploy on-site polls and heat-maps via Hotjar; and analyze behavioural data from Mixpanel, Amplitude or GA4. We typically reach research conclusions inside 1–2 weeks per discovery cycle.

Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Designing web and mobile in one engagement keeps the design system, components, tokens and visual language consistent across both surfaces. We follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, Material Design for Android, and modern responsive web patterns for browser interfaces. The shared Figma file uses platform-specific variants so designs adapt cleanly without forking the system.

Yes. A full design-system engagement at SecureNext produces a Figma component library with variants and auto-layout, design tokens (colour, typography, spacing, radius, motion, elevation) exported as JSON / CSS variables, documentation in Storybook or Zeroheight, accessibility-tested colour contrast, and an adoption playbook for engineering teams. Most clients start with a focused subset — buttons, forms, navigation — and grow the system over 2–3 quarters.

Accessibility is part of design, not a post-launch checklist. Every screen we ship goes through colour-contrast validation (WCAG 2.2 AA minimum), keyboard-navigation state design, focus-ring specifications, ARIA-role semantics in the dev-mode notes, and screen-reader testing on representative flows. For regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government) we also run a formal WCAG audit and produce a compliance report alongside the design files.

For dedicated designer engagements, we can shortlist pre-vetted UI/UX designers within 48 hours, complete client interviews inside a week, and kick off the engagement the following Monday. For project-based work, kick-off typically happens 1–2 weeks after the proposal is signed — that buffer covers stakeholder alignment, research recruitment and onboarding to your tools.
